He was living in a home, but his owner had to give him up because of a relationship break-up. Brodie is still nervous while he is in his kennel, but when he is taken out he soon brightens up and is playful and lively. He has good recall when off the lead and he can be left on his own in a home for a few hours. He is very affectionate with people he knows, but is wary of other dogs. He has lived with another dog, and may be able to live with another one with careful introduction. He is not used to children, so needs an adult only home. Brodie is in the kennels in Devon.

Name: Bud

Sex: dog

Age: 5-6 years

Information: This lovely lurcher is Bud. He has been living in a home for some time, but suffers from separation anxiety when his owner goes out, even though he has other dogs for company. Bud gets so stressed and unhappy when he has no human company that his owner has made the difficult decision to sign him over to the rescue kennels, so that we can look for a new home for him. Bud needs a home where someone will be around for all of the time. As he has lived with two other dogs and got on well with them, he would prefer a home with another lurcher if possible, but can be an only dog as long as he always has human company. He loves children, so can go to a home where any children are over 5 years old. Bud is a typical playful lurcher and loves playing rough and tumble with his doggie friends. He does need a cat free home. Bud is in the kennels in Devon.

Name: George

Sex: dog

Age: 4-5 years

Information: George is a gorgeous Staffi cross who is approximately 4-5 years of age. George arrived with us in a bit of a state as he has deformed feet – which were irritated and infected, sore ears and a bit of an irritation on his back. He has seen the vets and received treatment for these problems. Sadly his feet although looking much better will always be deformed – there are boots you can get to help if needed – however the deformity does not affect him. He is the most loving, attentive boy ever and dotes on the person he is with and just loves cuddles and performing his latest tricks. He has been around children whilst here and seems to be more than happy sharing his space! George does know how to do certain commands and we are sure in a home he will learn how to do more as he is so focused on being attentive to whoever he may be with. We do recommend further reward based training which will help him continue learning more! George appears to be sociable with other dogs; however he has NOT met any cats whilst here with us. He is able to go to a home where any children are 5 years +. George is in the kennels in Devon.

He is good with other greyhounds, but can be wary of small dogs, so will need careful introduction to them.
