Name: Bungle

Sex: dog

Age: 6-7 years

Information: GSD cross Bungle is a good natured, friendly dog who is very good around other dogs. He is looking for home with no children. Bungle is in the kennels in Devon.

Name: Debs

Sex: bitch

Age: 3 years

Information: Debs is a beautiful blue greyhound who has come into the rescue kennels after being retired from racing. She is not very tall for a greyhound, about 25-26" at the shoulder. Debs is good with other hounds, and is sharing her kennel with greyhound Sam. They adore each other and we would love to be able to find a home for them where they can stay together, but we realise that this may not be possible. If they are re-homed separately, it must be to a home where there is already another greyhound. Debs can live with children aged 5 or over. She is in the kennels in Dorset. We only ask for one adoption fee if someone gives a home to two of the dogs in the kennels.

Name: Jayjay

Sex: dog

Age: 2 and a half years

Information: Jayjay is a handsome black greyhound who has recently come into the rescue kennels. He has a very gentle nature and is good with other greyhounds, but he has never met any small dogs, so care will need to be taken around them. Jayjay is looking for a home with a female greyhound or lurcher, or as an only dog, as long as he is not left on his own for more than 4 hours a day. Jayjay is in the kennels in Dorset.

Name: Katie

Sex: bitch

Age: 5 years

Information: Retired greyhound Katie is a big, beautiful, very friendly girl with a very laid back nature. She is black with lovely white snowflake-like spots. Katie was born on 27 September 2011. As she is a big greyhound we feel that a home where any children are at least 8 years old is best. She is so gentle that she would never hurt any child, but because she is tall she could accidently bump into a small child. Katie is in the kennels in Dorset.

Name: Lexi

Sex: bitch

Age: 4 years

Information: This pretty beagle cross is Lexi, who has come into the rescue kennels because her her owner is no longer able to keep her. Lexi is generally good with other dogs, and has lived with children and can go to a new home where any children are aged 10 years or over. She is in the kennels in Devon.

Name: Penny

Sex: bitch

Age: about 6 years

Information: Beautiful brindle lurcher Penny has been in the rescue kennels and hoping to find a home for a long time. She was found as stray in Wales and taken in by an inner city rescue. While there Penny she was attacked by another dog, which made her wary of other dogs. Since coming to the SDS rescue, she has seemed to be OK while near other dogs, so hopefully she is starting to overcome her fear of them. She has had one of her toes removed. Penny is very affectionate and loves people. We feel that she would be happiest in a home where she is the only dog. Penny can be left for a few hours. She is in the kennels in Devon.

Name: Pippa

Sex: bitch

Age: 8 years

Information: Yorkie/Pomperanian Pippa has been with her owner for along time, but sadly a change in his circumstances means that he is not longer able to have a dog in his home. Pippa is a beautiful, friendly little dog who will make a lovely addition to any home. She is in Dorset. For more information pleas ring Judy on 01202 696685.

Poppy is in the kennels in Devon.

Name: Queenie

Sex: bitch

Age: 5 years

Information: Greyhound Queenie has been retired from racing and is now looking for her forever home. She is a friendly, beautiful natured girl who is good with other dogs. Queenie is very food orientated, so offering her food treats when her teaching new commands should make training easy. Queenie is in Dorset.

Name: Rosie

Sex: bitch

Age: 1 year

Information: This beautiful Bedlington terrier is Rosie. She has lived in a home since she was a very young puppy, but because of family problems her owner can no longer keep her, so Rosie has come into the rescue kennels. She is a timid girl who has been left on her own a lot, and has not been taken out much and has never been socialised with other dogs. Rosie is looking for a new home with someone who will give her gentle training and plenty of affection, and where she will have plenty of company. She can live with another dog, as long as that dog is gentle and calm. Can you be the person to give Rosie the chance she has never had to become a happy, confident girl who loves to run and play with other dogs? Rosie is in the kennels in Devon.

Name: Sam

Sex: dog

Age: 3 years

Information: Handsome brindle greyhound Sam has been retired from racing and is now looking for a warm home and a sofa, bed or duvet to stretch out on and relax. He is very good with other hounds, and is sharing his kennel with greyhound Debs. They adore each other and we would love to be able to find a home for them where they can stay together, but we realise that this may not be possible. If they are re-homed separately, it must be to a home where there is already another greyhound. He is not that tall, no more or maybe a bit less than average size for a male greyhound. Sam is a gentle boy who has been around children, so he can live with children aged 5 or over. He is in the kennels in Dorset. We only ask for one adoption fee if someone gives a home to two of the dogs in the kennels.

Name: Skye

Sex: bitch

Age: about 8 years

Information: Skye is a lovely English Bull Terrier cross who is approximately 8 years old. Skye is a lovely natured girl who is so affectionate with people and always wants lots of love and cuddles. She is still very active and loves her walks and enjoys a play so would like somewhere where she can still get out and about a lot and investigate her surroundings. Skye only knows a couple of commands, however she is very focused and eager to learn and we have found that a few tasty treats definitely help. As with all our dogs we would recommend carrying on her training with positive reinforcement to help her progress. Skye appears to be sociable with the dogs; however she CAN’T share her home with small animals or small dogs. Sky is suitable to be homed with children 6yrs +.

Name: Smurf

Sex: dog

Age: almost 5 years

Information: Beautiful blue and white greyhound Smurf is looking for his forever home now that his racing days are over. He is a medium sized greyhound and has such a friendly, gentle nature. Smurf is in the kennels in Devon.

Name: Sylvia and Fagan
