Billy can live with children aged over 5 years, but he cannot live with cats. Billy is in the kennels in Devon.

Name: Brodie

Sex: dog

Age: almost 2 years

Information: Brodie has been in the rescue kennels for many months and would love to have a home of his own. Poor greyhound/staffy Brodie was frightened of everyone and everything when he first came into the kennels. He was living in a home, but his owner had to give him up because of a relationship break-up. Brodie is still nervous while he is in his kennel, but when he is taken out he soon brightens up and is playful and lively. He has good recall when off the lead and he can be left on his own in a home for a few hours. He is very affectionate with people he knows, but is wary of some other dogs, although he is much better than when he first came into the rescue. He has lived with another dog, and may be able to live with another one with careful introduction. He is not used to children, so needs an adult only home. Brodie is in the kennels in Devon.

Name: Hermes

Sex: dog

Age: 3 years

Information: Hermes is a very handsome, large male greyhound. He can be a little quiet at first but he soon comes out of his shell and enjoys a scratch behind the ears. Hermes is good with other greyhounds and large dogs and could live with another big dog, however we do not know what he will be like with small dogs and would not be suitable to live with cats. Hermes is good off lead but needs a bit more recall practice – he does come back for a treat though! He walks beautifully on a lead. He is clean in the kennel and loves cuddling into his duvet at night. We would like Hermes to go to a quiet, relaxed home where he will get lots of attention and plenty of room for naps. Name: Joe

Sex: dog

Age: almost 2 years

Information: This very very beautiful greyhound is Joe. If you are looking for a dog who is very playful and loves everyone, then Joe could be just what you are looking for. He was bred to race, but was far more interested in playing with the other greyhounds than he was in racing them. Because he is very much a dog who loves people, Joe would be happiest in a home where he is the only dog. He has not met any cats. He was born on 19 November 2016. Information: Porter is the most laid back greyhound you will ever meet. He is a very handsome dog who loves a bit of attention. He is extremely clean in his kennel and is a gentleman to walk on lead. He is good off lead in our enclosed area, although his recall may need a bit more practice. He would happily lounge around with his humans all day, and we’re sure would be partial to a sofa or a bed. Porter is good with big dogs and is very calm when meeting them. He is not suitable to live with small dogs or cats. Porter is a very gentle boy and would definitely suit an older person/couple who is able to give him all the attention he deserves.

Name: Queenie

Sex: bitch

Age: 5 years

Information: Greyhound Queenie is a beautiful, very affectionate girl who found a new home for a short time, so is house-trained. Lovely Queenie is in Dorset.

Name: Rogan

Sex: dog

Age: 3 years

Information: Gorgeous greyhound Rogan has had a hard time in kennels. He is a very sensitive soul and found it hard to settle in to kennel life. He is now much less stressed and is more confident around people; however he can still be shy when you first meet him. He is excellent to walk on and off lead and LOVES to play fetch – he turns into a puppy around tennis balls. He loves relaxing in his bed and watching the world go by. Rogan is still a bit wary of new dogs but is much more confident than he used to be. He is not suitable to live with small dogs or cats. Rogan needs a quiet home, probably without children, as he can become unsure in busy or loud environments. Rogan has become one of the favourites in the kennels as he has such a lovely nature once he gets to know you. We would love for Rogan to find a home where he is given the time to come out of his shell and show everybody what a loving, sweet boy he really is. RESERVED

Name: Rose

Age: 2 and a half years

Information: Rose is a very pretty female greyhound who has a real zest for life. Her tail does not stop wagging and she loves her off lead runs in the field. Rose is clean in the kennel and has good recall. She loves being around people and gets on well with other greyhounds so could possibly live with another big dog. She will not be suitable to live with cats and we are unsure what she would be like with small dogs. Rose is quite bouncy so would not be suitable to live with young children in case she accidentally knocks them over. We would love to see Rose in a home where she can carry on enjoying life and getting lots of cuddles and love. She was born on 14 July 2016. Rose is in the kennels in Dorset.

Name: Seth

Sex: dog

Age: 4 years

Information: Beautiful black greyhound Seth has come into the rescue kennels with his brothers Peaky and Billy after being retired from racing. He was born on 12 September 2013. Seth is a lovely, affectionate boy who will make a wonderful pet and companion for someone. He loves people and will be happiest in a home where he is the only dog. He can live with older children and can be left for up to 4 hours a day. Seth cannot live with cats. He is in the kennels in Devon.

Name: Shelley

Sex: bitch

Age: 4 years

Information: Eye catching female greyhound, Shelley, is a petite dog with a lovely nature. She is very quiet but absolutely loves being around people, especially if it means getting an ear scratch. She gets on well with other greyhounds and lives with Snoopy in the kennels. Shelley has brilliant recall in the field although she rarely leaves your side anyway! She is easy to walk on a lead as well. She is clean in the kennel. Shelley would not be suitable to live with cats and would probably prefer a quieter home. We would love to see Shelley living with another dog, preferably Snoopy, as she is more confident with a friend. She deserves to find a lovely home where she can get lots of love for the rest of her life. Shelley was born on 8 December 2014. She is in the kennels in Dorset.

Name: Snoopy

Sex: dog

Age: 2 and a half years

Information: Snoopy is a handsome, tan greyhound that has a very happy disposition. He has a lovely wagging tail and adores people and attention. He gets on well with other greyhounds and currently shares a kennel with Shelley. He would not be suitable to live with cats and possibly not suitable to live with small dogs. He is very well behaved on and off lead. He likes to take his time round the field – he isn’t one to rush around – but comes back when he’s called. Snoopy is clean in the kennel. Snoopy would love a home with another dog, preferably his best friend Shelley, where he will get lots of attention and cuddles. Snoopy was born on 10 May 2016. He is in the kennels in Dorset.

Name: Wilf

Sex: dog

Age: 23 months

Information: This gorgeous rough coated lurcher (possibly saluki cross) is Wilf. He was was originally found as a stray and was re-homed, but sadly has had come back into the rescue kennels because he suffers from separation anxiety when left. Wilf is looking for a new home where someone will be at home all the time or where he can go to work with his owner. He is 25" tall at the shoulder. Wilf is a very gentle dog who likes having tummy tickles and to be stroked. He has an easy going temperament and he knows several commands. Wilf is good with children and adults and seems to be OK with cats, so could possibly live with one. He has lived with another dog, so can go to a new home where there is already a dog. Off the lead Wilf is variable, so it is best to let him off lead only in enclosed areas. Wilf is in the kennels in Devon. RESERVED
